sorry to say that when you go for your safety check you'll have to change your HID's back to stock, as the DOT changed the rule that if your car did not come with stock HID's, they are illegal no mater what color they are.
anyone have any research on this?

I think the HIDs are way better than the stocks. I did not know that you would get ticketed though! I have a safety inspection due so I will see how it goes.

hahahahahahaha...........i like this topic, when i bought my hids or actually my wife bought them she had to sign a waiver acknowledging the fact that these r illegal and that they r for off road purposes only and that hpd will or might give u a ticket.....just don't go down waikiki at nite if u don't have too....trust me i'm talking from personal experience....$37 dollars!!!!auryte!!!!!!!!!!
